The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)

  • Village East Cinema 189 2nd Avenue New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

August is 'D is for Disaster' Month!

New York City’s Premiere Drag Queen Hedda Lettuce presents THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, an interactive event the likes of Rocky Horror meets Mystery Science Theater with barbed wit. With comedy, and commentary, Hedda highlights the highs, lows, and absurdities of the 1951 film in which an alien lands and tells the people of Earth that they must live peacefully or be destroyed as a danger to other planets.
